Every Wednesday lunchtime a hot two-course meal is freshly prepared and cooked at Barton Methodist Church and served to approximately 65 elderly folk from the local community.We can arrange transport if required.Would you like to join us to enjoy lunch and meet new friends?Would you like to offer help with food preparation....

Bible

We meet in the Church Lounge for Bible Study on the first and third Tuesday evening each month. Our studies have included St Mark's gospel as a complete book and minor prophets, such as Hosea and Amos. In the four weeks of Advent and the six weeks of Lent day-time opportunities for study are also held at the church. Great encouragement can be found learning through our biblical insights....

Cafe Church

House Groups meet twice a month on a Friday evening. As their name suggests the groups meet in the homes of different members each time and a number of members take turns to lead the studies. Themes have included studies on Psalms as Prayer, The Story of Ruth and The Sermon on the Mount. Our studies lead to much soul searching and sharing and we often relate current news items to our....

Praying hands

Prayer is an essential part of church life. As such it forms an important part of all services of worship but in addition we encourage other opportunities for prayer. These currently include monthly Circuit Prayers at our church usually the second Saturday between 8.30am and 9.00am, and also the New Milton Ecumenical Prayer Group, which meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 11.00am....
