Crowe Hill Notice Board

Welcome to Crowe Hill Methodist Church and Retreat Centre.

The Methodist society at Crowe was founded in 1833 and the original members met under the 'Great Oak of Crowe'. The present Church was built around 1890 replacing an earlier one build in the mid 1830's and is located between Ringwood and Burley with easy access and ample car parking. We are at BH24 3DQ for your sat nav.

Sunday mornings consist of an All Age worship on the first Sunday of the month starting at 10.30am during which adults and children share an hour worship including songs prayers and a simple address followed by morning coffee and biscuits. For the remaining Sundays we again met at 10.30am for a more informal meeting involving simple Bible instruction and an opportunity to learn and discuss what it means to be a Christian in today's world. Two sessions are held; one for young people and one for adults.

There is a 'traditional' afternoon service of worship at 3.00pm each Sunday, which is followed by a cup of tea and a chat for those who wish to stay.

Crowe Hill Methodist Church provides an ideal venue for Day Retreats, Conferences and Church outings with cream teas of groups up to 35 people. We are set in tranquil surroundings on the edge of the New Forest. Our premises consist of a peaceful church building, modern kitchen, dining room small room and quiet grounds. We have access and toilet facilities for wheelchair users together with an amplification and loop system for those using hearing aids. A data projection system is available for presentations and film clips.
