Wimborne Folk Festival got underway Friday evening 8 June and Wimborne Methodists hosted a variety of gigs from 7-11 pm. It was great and here are some photos of some of the performers.
If you're reading this and can get into Wimborne Saturday or Sunday 9/10 June then do come and listen to the many musicians performing around the town, and watch all the dance troupes in their colourful costumes. Our church is open from early to 5ish both Saturday and Sunday with lots to eat and drink and a place to rest your weary feet.

By the way, the accordion player in the Darwins gave an impromptu performance of Bach's Toccata from the Toccata and Fugue. It was breathtaking. You can hear him on Sunday afternoon at Oddfellows Arms from 2.15 -3 p.m.
