Phil Collins writes:

"I am doing a piano marathon to raise money for Alpha India Foundation. This will be the third piano marathon, and I am hoping this time to play continually without any break longer than a semi-quaver, for over four hours — at Holtwood Methodist Church Summer Fete — Saturday 7 July starting at 10.30 am.

I have set up a "GoDonate" page (which is a bit like "JustGiving" but run by BT for free). So if you click the link below, then you can see the details, and if you wish to sponsor me, that would be really appreciated.

Alpha India Foundation rescues street children, and provides them with a safe homely environment, giving them food, shelter, school uniform, etc. This year several young people have gone to university / college / jobs at age 18/19, having been rescued back when they were 3 or 4 years old.

Having seen the plight of street children in India, who typically have a life expectancy of 7 years, this is a really great work.

Thanks
Phil"

This year our adventures took us to Brazil (in theme, if not in reality!). We had a busy time playing games, watching the Carmen Miranda classic film 'That Night in Rio', making masks, baking biscuits and having our very own...
