We Followed the Star at Barton!
Webteam: December 2016
We ran "Follow the Star" for the first week in Advent to enable us to prepare for Christmas in a special way, and to connect with those who use our premises.
We had four tables in the church with craft activities and the opportunity to make words about Christmas using Scrabble tiles. We also had card stars and invited people to write prayers on them and hang them on the tree.
Some of our members knitted 120 small angels, which we gave away for free, mostly to those who do not attend Worship here.
During the week we were able to talk to people in the various groups which use our premises, and encourage them to help us colour in our Nativity picture.
