'Diverse People – One Faith'

At Verwood Methodist Church we enjoy worshipping in a variety of ways, combining traditional and contemporary style worship, live music and engaging Bible teaching. The main services on Sunday mornings are led by our Minister, Reverend Nick Wood, Local Preachers from the Circuit or Worship Leaders. We welcome children and families to our Sunday worship with our Big Breakfast service, All Age Worship and Tree House (a children's group running alongside our 10.30am service). We also run dedicated contemporary and reflective services.

There are opportunities to learn and grow together through house groups, a prayer group, fellowship meetings and lunch clubs. We also come together for coffee mornings, lunches and other events. Our babies and toddlers' group ( Scamps ) meets on Friday mornings and our Inspire Youth Club is after school on Fridays in term time. We are also part of Churches Together in Verwood spreading God's Word in the local community, schools and organising joint events.

Verwood Methodist Church is located in the centre of Verwood. It was established in 1909, a hall was added in the 1980s and extended further in the 1990s. Recent works have included a kitchen refit, refurbished toilets, an all-weather car park and redecoration with further renovation planned to improve the facilities for church members and the wider community. The church premises are also extensively used by the local community for a wide variety of activities and clubs.

We would love to welcome you to join our church services.
