At Verwood Methodist Church we enjoy worshipping our Lord in a variety of ways including traditional and contemporary style worship, music and bible-based teaching.

Verwood Methodist Church is located in the centre of Verwood. It was established in 1909 a hall was added in the 80s and in the 90s the building was extended and an upper room created.
The Services on Sundays led either by the Minister, Revd Nigel Deller or by Local Preachers from the Circuit or Worship Leaders are varied in style. Our Big Breakfast Services are aimed at families with a relaxed style including breakfast and activities. Anew and Contemporary Worship include worship songs led by the Worship Band.
At Anew there is a table of activities for children in the church and during Communion the children have Messy Sunday activities.
During the week there are numerous activities either in the church premises or in members' homes. Everyone is encouraged to be part of a house group for fellowship and bible study.
On a Tuesday there is a prayer meeting followed by coffee morning to which all are welcome. Tuesday Fellowship group for men and women meets monthly including worship and a talk on an interesting topic.
On Fridays there is a Mother and Toddler Group Scamps. Friday evenings is the Chill group for young people led by the Youth and Schools Worker Dan Desmond.
Monthly on a Saturday there is the Lunch Club where folk can get together for a meal cooked by volunteers from the church. Transport can be provided.
Verwood Methodist Church is part of the Churches Together in Verwood spreading God's Word in the local community and joint activities include special services at Christmas and Easter and the monthly Messy Church.
The church premises are used extensively by the Community during the week including a base for the Salvation Army. Relate run counselling sessions and numerous activities go on from craft to dancing.
