"We love because God first loved us" (1 John 4:19)
The Christchurch and Wimborne Methodist Circuit is committed to living out a generous life as followers of Jesus Christ.
The Methodist Church is a connexional church and we seek to live out God's call to share the Good News of Christ with the world, we do this through the principles of our interdependence, mutuality and accountability to one another.
We seek to be generous with our message
Believing that the message of the good news of Jesus Christ is for all people we will be intentional in seeking out ways to share the message of the good news of Jesus Christ, working with our partners both in the Circuit and Ecumenically.
We seek to be generous with our love
Believing that all people are created in the image of God, we recognise that all have value and we will love and respect those we meet as we develop an ethos of inclusivity. In all of our worship, activities and contexts we will embody radical hospitality and will use our language to build people up, demonstrating and proclaiming the love of Christ.
We seek to be generous with our resources
We will seek to use our resources generously and wisely, including our resources of time, money and people. As a Circuit we will prioritise Mission and Evangelism, supporting the work of individual churches as well as considering how our Ministers and Lay people may be released to engage in such work.
