We have been following a Lent Liturgy at Wimborne, and hope to bring you a photo of each week as a further symbol is added.

Lent 1 — Stones to remind us of the wilderness places that Christ bears with us.
Lent 2 — Purple cloth reminding us that the call upon Jesus and upon us is not easy
Lent 3 — Bread and Wine remind us that Christ sustains us.
Lent 4 — A Candle "While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
Lent 5 — Bandages — Christ came into the world to save and heal. To set us free from all that binds us up
Wimborne is a bustling church at the heart of the town just behind the Minster church.
We are open 7 days a week and serve tea/coffee Monday to Saturday 10 to 12 noon to visitors and regulars alike. There are a variety of activities throughout the week that offer friendship, learning and fun — with food rarely far away.
We meet for 20 minutes for Morning Prayer on Monday and Friday at 0930 hours and on Thursday we hold a communion service at 1100 hours.
Sunday service is at 1030 hours, (around 100 attend) and a cafe style worship is at 0845 hours on the last Sunday of the month (around 15 attend).
