We are very pleased to announce that from the 1st September 2025, the Kurling Club will be supported by Blandford Methodist Church.
On Wednesday 9th July, David Wild and John Cornish met several members of the Kurling Club who confirmed their desire for the Church to manage the Club.
The Church offered a very warm welcome to the Club, saying how pleased they are to be supporting them.
Action is now in hand to arrange a membership list, training for the volunteers, DBS checking, etc.
The Kurlers will continue to meet on Wednesday mornings as our guests, with their membership starting on 1st September, which is the start of the Connexional Year.
We agreed that the primary contact persons will be John Cornish for the Church and Judith Briggs for the Kurlers.
