Christmas Da

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

We gather together in our own homes, joined by God's Holy Spirit, in anticipation and longing for the coming of the Lord. Christmas Eve is a time of reverence, knowing that the time is near, our journey to Bethlehem is over. Christmas Day our joy is made complete and like the shepherds, we fall on our knees and are filled with amazement as we praise and glorify God.

The Christmas of 2020, for many of us more than any in our lifetimes, our celebration of the birth of God's Son brings us the message of hope, peace, joy and love — truly a great and bright light to expel the darkness.

On Christmas Eve the service Premieres at 6.00pm and on Christmas Day the service Premieres at 8.00am, after this they can both be watched again at anytime.

Behold, a child has been born for us, a son given to us — His name is Christ the Lord and He will save His people.
I wish you all a very happy Christmas,
Phillip

Every Friday at 11am a group of people from Blandford Methodist Lunch Club meet on ZOOM for a chat and a quiz. At the end of each session a challenge is set. Last week the task was to colour a picture of a hydrangea. All those taking part entered into the spirit of the event and some excellent pictures were produced. Who said adults can't have fun colouring? We thought it would be good...

Joyce Wild writes:I realised when I watched the service today from Wimborne, which Pauline and I shared, that part of my sermon wasn't there. This is my fault entirely as I was learning how to record and then send to Richard. Below is the full sermon/talk. My apologies to all.
