Colehill Methodists wanted to make sure Gwyneth leaves us well fed! We had a roast dinner at church (no meat for Gwyneth, of course) followed by a service. We presented Gwyneth with a rose: Heaven Scent – we liked the name and the rose – plus some things for when she's camping, goats and chickens for Africa (not live ones, but it shows we listen to her sermons) and a cheque for her to enjoy spending.
There were tears all around- we will miss her, and we wish her every happiness. She won't be forgotten
And as she reminded us, ministers move on and another minister comes to continue the work. We are looking forward to Pauline's arrival and to welcoming her.
