A new hymn, lyrics and music written by Peter Aston of Holtwood. In due course we hope to bring you a video of Peter singing his hymn.

HOLY SPIRIT, YOU'RE WELCOME HERE TODAY

Holy Spirit, you are God's light
Shining as fire into our night
Burning as flames to dissipate fear
Holy Spirit, you're with us today.

Holy Spirit, you are God's breath
Blowing away the storms of death
Bringing new life and drying each tear
Holy Spirit, you're with us today.

Chorus
Holy Spirit, Comforter
Holy Spirit, Counsellor
Holy Spirit live in us
You're welcome here today
You're welcome here today.

Holy Spirit, you are our power
Strengthening hearts to serve each hour
Always with us, forever near
Holy Spirit you're with us today.

Holy Spirit, you save and heal
In our hearts your presence we feel
Your promise eternal, your guidance here
Holy Spirit, you're with us today.
