Christian Aid

This year the first day of the Christian Aid week fell on Pentecost Sunday. To celebrate these two events, Wimborne held a united service at the Methodist Church, which was led by Revd Dr Anne Gee, Chair of the Wimborne Christian Aid Group. The preacher was Revd Gwyneth Owen.

During the Service we watched the Christian Aid video about Morsheda who lives with her family by a river and dreads the floods which come each year, and we saw how Christian Aid is helping similar families to build safe homes, and support themselves with cattle and crops.

Members of both Wimborne Methodist Church and Wimborne Minster took part in the reflections and prayers during the service.
