Hi there! I'm Rev. Nick 'The Vic' Wood, an ordained minister for 26 years and now based in Verwood. I specialise in working with children and young people, particularly in local schools and also in church-based youth groups and all-age worship. I am a songwriter and musician and have produced several Christian-based songs aimed at the young and young at heart. I also have a fascination with the Jewish roots of Christianity and enjoy teaching and preaching so the Bible comes alive in new ways.
I am married to Suzannah who works for BCP Council in one of the family hubs. She is a Brownie leader, teaches the flute and works alongside me in our shared ministry to children and young people.
I am a licensed Radio Amateur (M0NTV) and enjoy building my own radios, tinkering with electronics, walking on the beach, playing bass guitar, cool jazz and hot curries ... but not necessarily in that order!
