Open Forum Summer Outing

Visit to the New Forest

This year's summer outing took the form of a drive through the New Forest, stopping at the Deer Sanctuary for coffee and then moving on to the High Corner Inn for lunch. Everyone enjoyed the company, but the weather was not at its best and all got rather wet. Unfortunately, no deer were spotted; they had more sense and kept dry under the trees. However, the meal at High Corner Inn, served in a private room, was excellent.

The Open Forum meets at Wimborne Methodist Church on the second and fourth Fridays of the month at 10.00 am from September through to May/June. All are welcome and it is well attended by members of various churches in Wimborne, who enjoy the wide range of speakers who visit.
