Webteam: November 2020
In early October a letter was sent to all Lunch Club members, appraising them of the situation with regards to meeting again and offered to all, who wished, the opportunity to meet each Friday for thirty minutes on zoom. For those who accepted the offer was the chance to chat with those we can't meet up with physically as well as having a little bit of fun with a game or a quiz. Each week a challenge is set — the most recent one being to find a limerick online or, better still, write your own. Well I am thrilled to say that Rona Downes took up the challenge and came up with the following limerick based on Lunch Club.
There once was a club that served lunch,
To a happy and jovial bunch
Led by Joyce and her team
Indeed it would seem
They all had a jolly good munch.
