After the Palm Sunday Service which included the christening of one of our young folk, members of Blandford Methodist Church family and Lunch Club folk sat down together in the church hall for Sunday Lunch. A delicious three course lunch was served to the thirty four people gathered. The starter was fanned melon, followed by either Beef Cobbler or Spanakopita (Greek spinach pie) with new potatoes and carrots. The desserts, all of which were homemade, were a selection of cheese cakes, including strawberry, chocolate, passion fruit and New York as well as fresh fruit salad with cream or cheese & biscuits. The meal concluded with a cup of tea or coffee with mini Easter eggs to nibble on.
Fun, food, fellowship. What's more could we want?
