Bransgore has celebrated 156 years of its chapel serving the people of the village, we recalled how the press reported that in 1862 "a large gathering of people from across all denominations enthusiastically celebrated that the Wesleyan Methodists, renowned from their evangelism, would soon be in a community that was reputed to have........ great immorality". Using 1 Samuel 7 we considered that "God has done a great work thus far", what He is doing do now and in the near future. We each had an Ebenezer stone which we laid together as a structure representing the importance of close fellowship.
