Easter bags

On Friday 9th April, a group of volunteers from the churches in Blandford delivered 79 Afternoon Teas. The bagged goodies that had been carefully packed by ladies from the Parish Church were a gift from Churches Together in Blandford and Blandford Foodbank to people in the community.

Each church in the town was asked to suggest the names of people who they felt would benefit from such a gift. The Methodist Church suggested ladies and gentlemen who live on their own, have no relatives living near them or have no family at all. The surprise gifts were very well received. It is hoped to offer something similar at Pentecost.
