FRIENDS AND NEIGHBOURS
Blandford Methodist Church held its first "Friends and Neighbours" social event in the afternoon on 23rd October 2021. (The first event since Covid-19 locked us-down in March 2020).
We played games of Boules using an indoor "Bouleadrome" made by Alan Dymond. Firstly we played competitively for the best of three games. This was followed by a "Knockout" session to determine the overall winner.
Ten church members attended and eight visitors came along for an entertaining afternoon that included light refreshments with a French theme and background music that gave the ambiance of being in Paris.
This was a very good time to meet socially, make introductions to new friends and to show that as Christians we know how to have fun.
