Harvest Celebrations

On Sunday 24th September Blandford Methodist Church celebrated our Harvest Festival with an All Age Worship service led by Deacon Alison McMillan followed by a wonderful lunch where over 40 of us stayed and shared in fellowship together.

The Church was beautifully decorated with fresh produce, flowers and tinned/dried goods. These gifts are going to be given to Blandford Food Bank to be distributed locally. The fresh goods were bought by members of the congregation with the donations going to the Food Bank as well.

A wonderful time was had by all as we shared together.

For our New Year get together, 24 members of Blandford Methodist Church gathered at the Langton Arms for a meal and skittling.On arrival the group was divided into team A and B for the skittling. For the first Fellowship Hour of 2020, we held a Board Games afternoon. Judith, Rosemary and Anne played Scrabble with Anne coming out the victor. They then followed this up with a game of Snakes and Ladders. Meanwhile Gill and Hilda played Connect Four, then Guess Who, whilst Jane and Joyce fought it out on the Draughts Board.
