Harvest Celebrations

On Sunday 24th September Blandford Methodist Church celebrated our Harvest Festival with an All Age Worship service led by Deacon Alison McMillan followed by a wonderful lunch where over 40 of us stayed and shared in fellowship together.

The Church was beautifully decorated with fresh produce, flowers and tinned/dried goods. These gifts are going to be given to Blandford Food Bank to be distributed locally. The fresh goods were bought by members of the congregation with the donations going to the Food Bank as well.

A wonderful time was had by all as we shared together.

After an hour or so of fellowship and catching up with friends across the whole circuit (from Blandford to Brockenhurst), it was time to adjourn to the sanctuary for...

We presented Gwyneth with a rose: Heaven Scent — we liked the name and the rose — plus some things for when she's camping, goats and chickens for Africa (not live ones, but it shows we listen to her sermons) and a cheque for her to...
