Thank you to everyone who came to our recent Light Celebration. We were delighted that 29 children and their parents/carers enjoyed a fun afternoon with lots of activities. We heard how important it is to have Light and we thanked God for creating day time with the sun and night time with the moon and stars.
We made a star streamer to wave during our song. We made candles and the sun's rays from playdough. We made a day and night picture and a mobile with the sun, moon and stars. We made a big day and night picture for the congregation. We prayed using our parachute giving our thank you, sorry and please prayers to God. And we even rolled 'the earth' around our parachute sky. The afternoon ended as usual with a delicious tea.
Thank you to all those who helped in any way either on the day or with the preparation.
