Holiday Club Mudeford Lane
Picture the scene. A wet rainy day and forty-two children are delivered into the capable care of Helen Reed and her excellent band of helpers for a fun day filled with exciting and interesting things to do.
This year’s summer holiday club held over two days from 9-30am until 1-00pm had the theme Friendship both with Jesus and others and was action packed from start to finish.
There were films to watch about Peter and Jesus, David and Jonathan, a wide variety of crafts, fun filled games and action songs for all to join in with and yummy snacks to refresh the youngsters.
The volunteer helpers including several older teenagers (which was a delight to witness) chatted with the children, helped where they could and shared their love of Jesus with those gathered. It was an exhausting but rewarding time seeing those taking part enjoying themselves and being taught about Jesus.
