Jason Cooke

We are delighted to welcome a student minister into our circuit for his five week placement. Jason Cooke studies at the Queen's Foundation in Birmingham and is coming to the half way point of his studies. He will be around the circuit, especially at Wimborne and Christchurch, though at other places too.

It's always good to have a student minister in the circuit to keep us on our toes. Learning is a two-way process and we hope we will receive from him even as we try to share our work and witness with him. Jason's placement finishes on 1 July when he will be preaching at Wimborne.

For the first Fellowship Hour of 2020, we held a Board Games afternoon. Judith, Rosemary and Anne played Scrabble with Anne coming out the victor. They then followed this up with a game of Snakes and Ladders. Meanwhile Gill and Hilda played Connect Four, then Guess Who, whilst Jane and Joyce fought it out on the Draughts Board.
