Thank you to everyone who came and supported Wimborne's Summer Celebration on Monday 19th August. This was the first time we've held a Celebration in the summer school holidays, so a bit of an experiment. However, we were delighted to welcome 16 families and 24 children to the event, so well worth the effort. Our story for the afternoon was 'The Lost Sheep' and so our songs and crafts were on that theme. To help everyone remember the story, we went on our own sheep hunt travelling through fields, mud, rivers, up and down hills (the pulpit became a hill for the afternoon), under hedges, through tunnels and finally to a cave where we found the lost sheep! We finished the afternoon with a lovely tea and everyone took home a sheep shaped biscuit in their take home bag. A huge thank you to everyone who helped in any way.
