Discipleship

My Dear Friends,

Our worship together this week begins a new six-week series: "Discipleship Lessons from the gospel of Luke". Using Luke chapters 9 and 10 we will hear what Jesus is saying to each one of us. We begin the series with a question — "who are you following?" I pray that new and exciting understanding is revealed to you each week as we embark on this journey of discipleship with Jesus -together.

Local Preacher Joyce Wild is our speaker, following the introduction we sing our praise to God with: "My Jesus -my Saviour" and conclude the video with the song, led by our own Vivien and Coraine: "Knowing You -Jesus". The Worship at Home sheets contain a full worship service with prayers, poetry, preaching notes and additional songs. Diana Middleditch has written the Bible study this week and I encourage you to join one of the groups that meet virtually each week to discuss further and deeper the questions raised by the passage and to have a time of fellowship together.

Be blessed as we join together to worship God, in Spirit and Truth.
Phillip
