Ruth 1 God i

My Dear Friends,

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! This week we begin a four part series on the book of Ruth. Each week has a title that reflects the particular section of scripture we are engaging with and this week it is Ruth 1 and our title is "God in the grief".

We begin with a beautiful piece of music that highlights the commitment that Ruth made to her mother-in-law Naomi in their joint grief over the loss of their loved ones and following the preaching our music group sings Mighty to Save (Everyone needs compassion). The "Worship at Home" sheets that can be accessed by clicking the link are an accompanying and complementary resource to the video and I encourage you to engage with all of the resources we provide you with. Also, just as a reminder, the video, the preaching notes and the Bible study are on the websites of both churches (Highcliffe and Bransgore) organised by each theme.

I pray that these resources will be beneficial and a blessing to all those who use them as we enter into worship this week.

Yours in Christ,
