Christ as Ki

My Dear Friends,

This Sunday we begin a two part celebration of "Christ as King". We use Psalm 72 as we consider "Prophecy", the foretelling of the coming of Christ. "For he will deliver the needy who cry out" (verse 12), the very name Jesus means "he saves his people". Maggie Hussey of Bransgore reads the psalm, Coraine, Viviene and Ken bring you the accompanying song and Kathy Mathew has provided the Bible study.

William has provided a very appropriate, striking and regal opening to the video using Handel's magnificant Zadok the Priest.

Be blessed as we use these different resources (Worship at Home sheets, video and Bible study) to worship our God, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords!
Yours in Christ Jesus,

Every Friday at 11am a group of people from Blandford Methodist Lunch Club meet on ZOOM for a chat and a quiz. At the end of each session a challenge is set. Last week the task was to colour a picture of a hydrangea. All those taking part entered into the spirit of the event and some excellent pictures were produced. Who said adults can't have fun colouring? We thought it would be good...

This is my fault entirely as I was learning how to record and then send to Richard. Below is the full sermon/talk. My apologies to all.
