My dear friends,

Our third week in the Creation Time series brings us "Creation Groans". Our passage for today is Romans 8: 1-11 and 18-25. The apostle Paul's letter to the Romans is often thought of his best and most concise writing concerning the Christian faith. It provides for us an incredible explanation on the difference that following Christ makes in our lives, Deacon Paul Wayne is our preacher and he brings an excellent understanding of this passage for us.

The worship song "Christ alone (cornerstone)" begins our video, Marie Wayne provides our Bible reading and following the preaching we are blessed by Vivien and Coraine singing for us: "my Jesus my Saviour".

Many of you will recognise some of the magnificent and towering verses contained within this section of scripture such as: "there is therefore no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus" and for those of us bearing pain and difficulty "I consider the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory to be revealed" and finally the words that form the basis for our title today: "creation itself groans and labours in anticipation of being released from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God". Surely, we all long for that day.

May you be blessed in our worship of God,
Phillip
