Video, 24 Ma

My Dear Friends,

Welcome to our shared worship for Sunday 24th May. Your presence and participation, albeit separated physically, represents what it means for us to be "of one accord in Christ Jesus".

The video clip is provided for you to be an introduction (the warm-up) to our act of worship which is contained on the Worship at Home sheets. I encourage you, if your technology allows, engage with both. My prayer is that we emerge from this time of distancing and isolation stronger in our faith and united in our experience, these resources, with the partnership of the Holy Spirit, will help us to do so.

I am very excited about our Pentecost celebration next week which will be a different format...but we must not get ahead of ourselves, we are now in the period between Ascension and Pentecost, a time of anticipation, patiently and reverently waiting. Be blessed as we continue our journey together through the Acts of the Apostles and worship the God of all creation.

Yours in Christ,
Phillip

The apostle Paul's letter to the Romans is often thought of his best and most concise writing concerning the Christian faith. It provides for us an incredible explanation on the difference that following Christ makes in our lives, Deacon...

In these extremely unusual (unprecedented) times we are surely all being led by the Lord to look afresh at everything we do in His name. At Highcliffe this has resulted in us seeking to develop new patterns of worship. We have now produced a clear visual representation of what this means in reality with the hope and belief that all church members will support this new pattern and consequently...
