Discipleship

My Dear Friends,

Our worship together this week continues with the theme: "Discipleship Lessons from the gospel of Luke". Using Luke 9: 37-50 and the title "Confused Disciples" we will learn of four key areas of confusion which are so appropriate and important for us today.

Our worship begins with a beautiful song: "Lord you chose your first disciples" from Jubilate, the words we sing in praise and worship to God are also exactly right for this message. Win George reads the gospel passage and our preaching this week is in two parts with Vivien and Coraine singing "To be in your presence" to provide a time of reflection. Jean Davies has written the Bible study and I encourage you, during this coming week, to engage with it to bless you and provide some additional insight and depth.

Be blessed as we worship God and join with these first disciples in learning some important lessons.
Phillip
