Harvest Festival service

Sunday 25 September saw harvest celebrated at the Milford on Sea Methodist Church. The church was decorated on Saturday so that there was already a real harvest feel when people attended the service on the Sunday morning. The service which was well attended. was led by our minister, Revd Phil Dixon and included some well-known harvest hymns, a sermon based upon Matthew 6: 25-34 and concluded with sharing the sacrament of holy communion. 

After the service most of those who attended stayed to share in a lovely two course lunch. All of the donations (food and financial) went to the New Forest Basics Bank.
