Crowe Hill Methodist Church will also be opening for Private Prayer every Wednesday until further notice from 2.00 to 4.00p.m.
All precautions against COVID-19 will be in place -- in line with official guidance.
There will be stewards on duty to help all who come to comply with the procedures.
All visitors will need to bring a face mask and use it whilst in the church, please.
There will be six prayer stations and we anticipate this will cover requirements, but if there are more than six individuals or couples at any one time, there is seating in the graveyard for comfortable waiting. Unfortunately, it will not be possible at the moment to take wheel chairs as exit from the Church will have to be through the main door. This means having to go down steps.
Welcome to Crowe Hill Methodist Church and Retreat Centre.
The Methodist society at Crowe was founded in 1833 and the original members met under the 'Great Oak of Crowe'. The present Church was built around 1890 replacing an earlier one build in the mid 1830's and is located between Ringwood and Burley with easy access and ample car parking. We are at BH24 3DQ for your sat nav.
Sunday mornings consist of an All Age worship on the first Sunday of the month starting at 10.30am during which adults and children share an hour worship including songs prayers and a simple address followed by morning coffee and biscuits. For the remaining Sundays we again met at 10.30am for a more informal meeting involving simple Bible instruction and an opportunity to learn and discuss what it means to be a Christian in today's world. Two sessions are held; one for young people and one for adults.
There is a 'traditional' afternoon service of worship at 3.00pm each Sunday, which is followed by a cup of tea and a chat for those who wish to stay.
