Message from Dr Christopher Slade:
I was due to take the 3pm service at Crowe Hill on Sunday 29th March but unfortunately that will not happen. So I thought that I would share with you, via the attached transcript, the service I would have given. Please feel free to forward or share this to anyone else you think might like to read it.
Underneath each of the songs is a link to that song on YouTube, so if you follow this on a computer or tablet with internet access you can, if you wish, hear the song and sing along.
If you found this helpful I am happy to share with you the other services I was scheduled to take on the current plan because in the words of Lennon and McCartney "I will be writing more in a week or two".
Yours in Christ

Welcome to Crowe Hill Methodist Church and Retreat Centre.
The Methodist society at Crowe was founded in 1833 and the original members met under the 'Great Oak of Crowe'. The present Church was built around 1890 replacing an earlier one build in the mid 1830's and is located between Ringwood and Burley with easy access and ample car parking. We are at BH24 3DQ for your sat nav.
Sunday mornings consist of an All Age worship on the first Sunday of the month starting at 10.30am during which adults and children share an hour worship including songs prayers and a simple address followed by morning coffee and biscuits. For the remaining Sundays we again met at 10.30am for a more informal meeting involving simple Bible instruction and an opportunity to learn and discuss what it means to be a Christian in today's world. Two sessions are held; one for young people and one for adults.
There is a 'traditional' afternoon service of worship at 3.00pm each Sunday, which is followed by a cup of tea and a chat for those who wish to stay.
